Ever since Jens received his first pony, he has had a lifelong pursuit of achieving excellence in training horses. In 1995, after completing his studies, Jens began training with Master Trainer Gilbert Böckmann, until 1998, when he received his professional riding license from the German Federation.
From 1998-2001, Jens continued expanding his equestrian training and
education under René Tebbe, a renowned Olympic Trainer and show jumping rider. In 2001, Jens was offered a position as Head Show Rider and trainer for Uebel Hardt in Basel, Switzerland where he stayed for one year, before returning to Böckmann Pferde as Head Show Rider from 2002-2005. From 2005-2010, Jens took a position with Heinrich Ramsbrock as Head Show Rider, Sales Manager, and Stable Manager for 6-7 riders and 100 horses.
Ramsbrock was the founder of Cornet Obolensky, a stallion that has dominated the sport and breeding industry for many years. It was here that Jens passion for training young stallions blossomed. While at Ramsbrock, Jens had the opportunity to license many acclaimed stallions including Colestus, Capristrano, Lord Fauntleroy, and For Contest.
In 2010, Jens started his own business. He focused on producing young horses for competition, and was showing internationally with results at a 3-4* level. Jens has a passion for training young riders and professionals. Beginning in 2017, after meeting his wife, Lee, Jens’s business model further evolved to focus on training young horses for the American market. Looking where to buy horses in Germany or where to buy horses in Europe? Look no further! Together, Jens and Lee acquire talented hunter/jumper horses for sale, and further develop them so they are prepared for future success with their clients.
